Crawling!

Month 8 highlights

Samantha crawls all over the place now, and is starting to pull herself up on furniture. She finally got in two bottom front teeth, and she loves to laugh and cuddle. She also loves bananas, as you can see... we can only get her to eat green beans or peas if bananas are on the spoon too. :)

Month 7 - playtime

Samantha loves to laugh and play now, and she says "dada" and "mama" pretty often... especially when we leave a room. For a kid who can't quite crawl yet she can also get across the room pretty well when we're not watching! It's been a fun month.

Here are a few highlights from our first Christmas with Samantha. We were so blessed to witness in a new way the miracle of the gift of Christ, as a precious baby, this Christmas. Having a baby at home really drives home the message of Christ's innocence in a fallen world.

Ready to crawl?

Sami put together rolling over and reaching for objects one night and has been a mover ever since (although she's more interested now in sitting up by herself). Here's a clip from that first night of creeping.
